I just heard from television report tonight that the banks in the USA will handing out bonus to the excutives in 500,000 to millions dollar each person before christmas. In interview they said these are very talented peoples that if you don't give them bonus, they will leave the banks to join Wall Street.
Wha..a..at, say it again!
1) Sounds like they just help themselves to the money the government sending them to ease the credit crunch.
2) Really! so talented that the banks they run are on the verge of collapsing.
Any one of us get a bonus like that in our fields?
3) Joining Wall Street, darn it, I thought Wall Street are laying off peoples.
4) they keep saying how all of our investment, trillions of dollar in mutual funds just disappear in thin air in a second. Really, where is this energy in the universe transfers to according to the laws of physics.
I got a book from my local library, the author said a lot of the mutual fund managers selling their own shares while buying them highly inflated for the fund (thus pocket the gains), or selling the fund shares low & buying them for themselves. The conclusion is the wealth did not disappear in an instance.
Somebody pocket the profits with the inflated exagerated price.
Also according to the news, the guy who runs Lehman is walking away with 300 millions. How many peoples who work for that company losing jobs, thus put their families in peril!
