Thanks folks. It seems to be a lot darker in colour from the pics I've been able to find of the parents. Flower size this morning 150mm (6 inches).

Nice deep one Roy. One of my favorites, next to purpurata.

C. purpurata is a long time like of mine. There are heaps of them for sale here atm but not true to label in many of the species. Lots of hybrids around also. No room left to grow them now apart from the 3 I have. Need another orchid house. (not)
