Dear friends,
This is a plant that I got from Peruflora labelled as Jason Fischer x besseae. The plant almost died the first year under my conditions but has recovered fine.
It seems to me not a Scarlett OHara but a Cape Sunset, what do you think?

It was my first guess also but Cardinale has a mouch rounded pouch. I do have some Cardinale clones and this plant seems to me not the same. Also this one has a yellowish background, that I have never seen in Cardinale. (Sorry the colors in the picture are not accurate)

Dont you hate mislabelled plants. I sure do when it happens. Not knowing for sure what it is exactly.

I don't recall seeying a Cape Sunset in "person". Does the plant exhibit some besseae traits? Like wider leaves maybe?

I agree this is a typical Cape Sunset as I have several to compare it to. I also ordered one of these labeled the same way probably the same time you did and it turned out just like yours. Manolo was selling these at the time so there must have been a mix up at his nursery.
