If you have trouble growing S. coccinea types try this hybrid. As you can see it’s small, red and floriferous. lots of flower for the size. Color is better than the photo.

My GH gets down to 42 seasonally. I believe the hybrid is more tolerant than the wittigiana parent.

The O in Orpetii needs to be capped, as it’s a hybrid.
