I was pleasantly surprised when these flowers opened with such wild colour patterns. The petals mimicked the lip (thus the peloric variety), making the yellow flares look like eyes. And to think it came from a line breeding of the rare trianae peloric ‘Lia’ (was sold for USD$20,000 when it was found from the jungle).

The colour is the darkest peloric form I have ever seen. The flower is also quite big of the type at almost 14.5 cm. And good shape with the petal overlap at top.
