As a Mets fan ..I rooted for the Cubs to lose all the time...started in 69 (apparently, when I was three..got it from my mom)..and then watching the Mets get beat out by the Cubs in 84...so there was always that rivalry. Since expansion, they don't really have that rivalry anymore. My family also lived there for the past decade and I got to visit Chicago a lot and went to some games at Wrigley. Really nice fans, even while my mom was telling everyone she was a Mets fan. Finally glad they got to the World Series..they deserve it and with the state of Chicago sports..it really comes at a good time.....I pick them in five, winning at home

It was a great series (it's got nothing on 2011 though). Congrats to the baby bears. My wife is a Cubs fan. I'm a Cards fan. Once a decade or so we let them have a chance

Sure, game seven was over before it begun. But game six will forever be the best game ever played in my eyes. I have a picture of me holding my newborn son in our Cards gear from that day. It was just a special time.
