Dendrobium anosmum var. huttonii

This particular plant of Dendrobium anosmum var. huttonii is weaker than the average lilac color anosmum. It takes optimal care to get more than a dozen flowers from it. It as the most unusual pattern of blooming I have seen in any plant of Den. anosmum. In January/February, it will bloom from the bottom end of the cane. Then the keikis will bloom in February/March, this plant has five keikis . Then in April the top end of the canes will produce a few flowers.

Ah, I know just the species for you. Dendrobium aphyllum/cucullatum/pierardii. It loves being watered constantly. And as a pleasant bonus, when it starts dropping its leaves, you can pretty much ignore it until it shows the buds of the inflorescences. The only con is that it can produce five or six feet long canes which are a bit of a problem for indoor growers.
