Dendrobium brassii (Advice needed)

Does anybody here has experience with this species? I have received a small "flowering size" plant 2 years ago. It grows very well but has never bloomed... I was advice to keep it together with Dendrobium laevigatum (which has also never bloomed for me! ), under medium light, high humidity temperate/warm conditions...

I have tried to retrieve more information about this species, but that's almost impossible... Google does not give more info (except that apparently everybody has problems blooming it!) and Lavarack not even mention it in his book...


P.S.- I am considering to let it get a very cold winter this time and check how it reacts... :evil:

it seems to be the mistery Dendrobium... if you bloom it, you win I have seen that thread in Orchidsinteractive before, and helped to know that Epigeneium lyonii is also a difficult one to bloom (I had always thought it is an easy plant to bloom!) Based on Tom-De's entry I am planning to give the cold treatment...

Mine's the same - grows well but hasn't yet flowered! And I keep it cool/intermediate...

I have 2 of this species. No blooms yet! Let us know if someone is able to bloom this one!
