I have recently been approved to be a reseller of La Crosse Technologies' instruments - thermometers, combos with hygrometers, weather stations, clocks, etc., and am about to place my initial order for inventory.

I would like to offer folks here an opportunity to get anything in their catalog at 20% off the suggested retail price. Here's how:

  1. Click on THIS LINK to get the PDF catalog.
  2. Choose what you want.
  3. Place an order HERE (using my "payment info resubmission" link), putting the model number and description in the "Comments" field at checkout.

I plan to place the order on Monday, March 19, so if you're interested, you have through the 18th to take advantage of the offer.

Interesting, Ray -- I was just about to post if anyone had suggestions for a temperature monitor that would read/record high & low temps in the greenhouse but display them, remotely, inside my house.

Do you have any recommendations?

There are a number that will do that, Dot. These are ones I'm considering, in increasing price:

WS-6010U-IT-CBP
WS-9060U-IT-CBP
WS-9257U-IT
WS-9049U-IT-AL
WS-9057U-IT-LC
WS-9037U-IT-CBP
WS-9020U-IT

Dot
I have used the model WS-9020U-IT TX28U-IT for about three years now with very good results. They're a bit of trouble to program but even I can do it. I suggest you use the longest powered batteries available so that you won't have to bother anymore than necessary. :)

Ray, there must be something wrong in the link... I could open it yesterday without problems. I tried now again after reading the thread and it does not work for me anymore either!

and strangely, I clicked on it now again (5th time in a row) and it opened without problems...

Thanks Ray and Michel -- I looked briefly at the catalog last night, but now I have a better direction.
