I'll take an album and I don't need a specimen-size plant.Reactions have been great. Stay tuned….
Where is the Xmas spirit, Rich?I only have 3 of those. ;-) So unlikely.
If you want an instant result and don't have a budget, always go for the biggest plants...however, raising a seedling will give you a huge satisfaction too and surprises(good/bad as for flower quality). SVO's plant isn't that small--single growth, 6-7" LS, BS IMO.Yes they do, although very small plants.
Thank you so much. I grabbed the last album they had listed about an hour ago.If you want an instant result and don't have a budget, always go for the biggest plants...however, raising a seedling will give you a huge satisfaction too and surprises(good/bad as for flower quality). For those who are looking for the album form, Springwater Orchids has it for just $30 or $35...I bought one from them 5 months ago but I haven't bloomed it yet...hopefully, it is a true alba.
If I understand correctly, when 'SVO Ruby' went in for judging, the cultivar name was listed as 'Red Ruby'. Therefore, the AOS recognizes the AM/AOS award for 'Red Ruby', not for 'SVO Ruby'.I recently bought some from our Tim of Oceanside Orchids whom is a member here. He is doing all of the Paph breeding for Sunset Valley Orchids. They all arrived with 6 to 7 inch leaf span. The cross I received was SVO Ruby AM/AOS x Theresa. Lovely fairies.
