First Bloom Paph Paul Parks

This seems to be a very compact grower. Let me know what you think. Also, it bloomed with a point on the pouch of the first bloom with no sign of another point on the second bloom. I have only seen this one other time on a rothschildianum 'Charles E' x 'Borneo'.

I love it. IMO this is probably the best sanderianum hybrid for flower quality.

MK can be the most impressive with high flower count, and PEOY is always impressive, but a good, dark Paul Parks like this just always hits right.

This one seems to draw a lot from the anitum side, which would explain the plant size and flower count. Hopefully the plant will clump some more and you will get more flowers next time.

I wouldn't be mad at the imperfection on the pouch. It will probably be fine next time.

I am very curious if anyone else has seen these odd spikes on the pouches of other plants?

They can happen on roths and other multifloral paphs quite often.
