Fishing Trip this past weekend 06.08.08

These were the fish we caught this past weekend.

3 of the stripers are roughly 40-44" one is roughly 36-38". We also caught 8-9 blues 3 of which we kept. The rest we tossed back.

Aaah, fresh caught bluefish. Dipped in milk. Dredged in flour. Browned in a frying pan. Finished in the oven. I wonder what the poor people are eating tonight .

Can you tell I miss our days of living out on Long Island?

Thanks everyone.

Eric - The breeze on the boat was good and the sun was barely out. We were actually stuck idle for about an hour because we were in the middle of that storm.

Bio - I'm still alive so I think it's ok

Charlie - time for you to visit the sound again

Eric M - My friends and I booked a private charter which left from northport. The captain said that we were fishing close to Mamaroneck.

I used to live further south down the shore in New Rochelle; I miss the private beach. You're lucky you didn't get toasted like the rest of NY.
