Foliage plants

I actually picked those two for their foliage. The sukhakulii was one in a large cardboard box imported last spring from Thailand, the curtisii one of a dozen hand-carried from Taiwan.
I like every sukhakulii, but I'm particularily pleased with the (superbiens var.) curtisii.

Since she failed to introduce herself, she's still The Cat, Queen of the stables, after ten years of knowing her.

Looks like she wants to bite you. Paph superbiens v. curtsii has one of the best foliages of all the paphs IMO!

That's really unusual and beautiful foliage. Imagine what a gorgeous plant that Paph. curtisii will be when it is ready for a 6" pot.

Oh no, wasn't me! A Taiwanese grower came to a show this spring and brought some stuff in.

These are some other species with gorgeous foliage, if you haven't already got them: lawrenceanum, bullenianum, hookerae, dayanum, wardii, parvis and brachys..
