I saw the trailer for this docudrama!
Beginning of April through mid September,I purchased 275 pounds of cane sugar from Sam's Club. Them little hummers drink a whole lot o'sugar...
Getting back to obesity in US,have you seen what French folks usually grabs for breakfast? Baba au rhum was the choice selection back in the 80's and 90's and most of them are quite slender,only difference,they don't eat 10 of them at a time and they surely don't drive to the nearest bakery..they walk or bike.
The villain here is not just sugar,most kids I see around me who are grossly obese seems to move only between the refrigerator and the couch,school busses picks them at their door then drops them back at their door. They don't participate in any after school games or in any form of play exercise. These obese kids parents are also grossly obese themselves,choice of meals are pizzas and diet drinks.

Watch food inc.!!! Interviews with farmers and the corporations that own the patent on the seeds they grow etc...
