kovachii x besseae flavum

reliable bloomer. This time around the flower is darker with "better" shape for some reason...

I like the way the pouch has taken on more of the besseae shape. Very elegant.

Many of the FS's I've seen do this...it's so interesting to see how the traits shake out in the plants! Personally, I prefer the besseae pouch shape over the "overinflated" kovachii pouch, but I do like them both.

Soooo beautiful. My Fritz bud rotted in the sheath and
broke my heart.

it never happened with my Fritzies, but I'm familiar with buds aborting in the sheath and I know exactly how you feel. But usually, it only happens once. So
don't despair! :)

From what I've seen, Fritz from OZ are excellent! Lucky you.

Cool team!!!! Jean

I'll try to make a picture with both versions of the Fritz Schomburg...
Parents included.

Indeed--I don't have an abundance of space, so I have to make every plant worth the space it takes up! I'll post pictures when it arrives; it should be in spike, so we will see how the bloom looks sooner than later!
