We had a kind of ice fog today that left a wonderful hoarfrost on everything...

A couple of pictures of my backyard...

Yeah, I gotta lot of garden knick knacks, or junk, depending on your preference. :D

Similar to all the ice storms we've had, except everything is encased in "glass"! Your pics are beautiful! Warmer weather is ahead...someday.:wink:

Snow = fun! :D

there are tons of snowmobilers at many of the gas stations around here that are ecstatic that we have all of this snow and that gas is under $2 a gallon!

last weekend I traveled to my old high school and it had gotten down to 0˚ in utica; most of the way down the trees and all were tinted with frost which was very nice. not as much as shown here in this thread, but still nice to see :)

Looks a lot like around here the other day. Very pretty, but I much prefer the color green when I look outside. Sigh. :(

Wow, the second pict. gives a good indication of the height of the snow!!! In Luxembourg we have very few snow, but extremely low temps. going in the night to -15 Celsius! Jean

Wow, looks beautiful...and very cold. Suppose I should stop complaining about the 'freezing' weather here :eek:

-3C is not tropical :poke: Still it's not as bad continental Europe. Jean mentioned -15, yikes!

I just hope that the cold temps might convince my micranthum to spike. That would certainly be a nice silver lining.
