Wanted Galeandra batemanii

Since I am into the orchid hobby again, I would like to have this species again--buy, trade...if you have one or a source, let me know. TIA.

I’ve been wanting some Galeandras too. In my experience, they’re a little hard to find.

I can't remember where I got mine before and what happened to it...When I googled for retail sources, my photos showed up online(used by someone else) but no one is selling them now...so private collectors might be the source for it. I love this particular species, the foliage stays clean, and the plant doesn't grow big...

That is probably where I got it from too...or one of the vendors at Redland.

Have you tried reaching out directly to Tim Culbertson and/or Fred Clark to see if they have a seedling or division to spare? If you're okay with super young plants just out of flask/compot (or even a compot itself), maybe check in directly with Jon at Louisiana Orchid Connection.

Call Hausermann’s? They had some a few years ago, not listed on their price list but I saw them in bloom. Raggedy plants but a striking burst of odd flowers.
