A delightful miniature species. It's from Andy's Orchids (sold as Oncidium coloratum). The photos were taken on Nov 13, 2018. It is still a small plant, but it produced 2 inflorescences this year. The second one wasn't in bloom at the time of photos, but the flowers from the second inflorescence are still open now. I'm growing it at the cool-end of intermediate; max/min daily temperature of 29/18C (84/65F) in the summer and 21/13C (70/55F) in the winter.

I tried to use Google Photos for sharing, but they aren't too friendly with embedding in forums, so the photos might disappear in the future. I'll stop using Google Photos until they make it better, but the photos of this thread can be found in my Shared album of Orchids from Google Photos.

That’s really cute! Do you grow in greenhouse conditions or home conditions? I ask because I grow in a low humidity house condition. South window but low humidity. I’d love to find one of these if it is adaptable.

Is it safe to assume this one isn't fragrant?

I will check tomorrow (with the nose of my wife).

Wendy, I grow orchids in grow tents, so they get high humidity (70-80%). I'm also in a cold region, so the humidity is a problem without the enclosures. I'm not sure how well this species will do in a lower humidity.

Thank you! In our previous house I had a specialized basement grow room. That may have been ideal. Window growing really limits what I can have.

A great species! Some are not as colorful, so you have a good one from Andy P.
When I had my collection, I grew this one on the cool side of intermediate also and it was doing great, more and more flowers each years. It can produce multi. new growths from each pbulbs......
