Has anyone used green [e.g. tree] moss, like Andy Phillips promotes for small basket culture and mounting, as a supplemental medium for Phrags, say as a small percentage with bark?

I've gathered a bunch of green moss from our stone wall; rinsed it off; and laid it out on our deck. What got rinsed off was mostly a silt-like powder and tiny stones from the backside, though it looks like there are still some tiny mineral fragments in the moss.

Thanks-
Patricia

I use green tree moss to line my baskets for all my Paphs, and then top-dress the baskets with it. I don't mix it in the media, but the roots seem to grow into the moss that lines the baskets. I haven't tried this with Phrags.
