Gift from Sarah Hurdel. She warned me it gets huge; I didn't listen...WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN?
38 flowers & buds, 40in (about 102cm) tall, not including the pot.

This is a Leon Glicenstein hybrid of Habenaria lindleyana and Habenaria medusa. It's named after his pet cat, whose name is Kat, with a "K", because of course it is. This is a young one; it can get a foot taller.

Another one of this extravacant group ..... lovely .... but on the first sight you can't find differences to H. medusa.
