Sorry, I don't know the answer. But are you making a DIY clean box, eggshells? I'd like to see how it looks like (well, it looks like a box, probably), and the approx. cost if you don't mind sharing the info!

Looks fine to me,mine was 24 inch x 24 inch, not sure how thick it was,
As long as there will be enough room for you to work inside the unit

Thanks Russel. That is what I am planning on getting. I was thing of 24X12 (LxH) but it maybe too low.

Yes I will. Once the filter guys gets back to me. I will look for the blower. I just need to make sure I'm getting a fan that has enough CFM to push through the filter. Russel is helping me on the technicalities. I have an idea in mind and will try to share it once I get more details.

By getting the 6" depth 400 cfm blower should work so I just want to make sure I have enough.

Cool! I'll be looking forward to hearing about it! Some store bought laminar flow hood has UV light inside of the hood. People turn it on before using the hood (not during using it). I wonder if it is any useful.

That is interesting. My friend was asking me about that too because the university in Thailand was using some sort of UV light as well on their DIY laminar flow. Unfortunately, i have no knowledge of it. I remember seeing a rain barrel accessory that has it. It advertise to kill pathogens, etc.

Anyways, I might just bypassed that and will just go with standard liquids to clean. Physan, Sodium Hypochlorite or Isoprophyl alcohol.
