Help on possible orchid identification

This was found on a roadside in Borneo by a friend of someone in our orchid society.He's trying to find out what it could possibly be.Since we have so many knowledgeable people on our group,I thought maybe someone could help.

Can you show a closer-up view of the front of one of the flowers?

Cymbidium chloranthum, an epiphytic/semi-epiphytic species. The flowers open up green and turn pink with age.

I was thinking Cymbidium. It would be easier with a photo of the bulbs!

I was thinking Cym. madidum based on the leaf size - chloranthum is in my experience much smaller than the pictured plant, but I've seen maybe two or three of them...


Many cyms develop red flowers or red lips as soon as the anthers have been removed from them.
