Hi I am Sastry, Ph.D (Forestry) and been a professional forester. Worked in the biodiversity rich areas of North East India in the state of Nagaland and now retired and settled in Bangalore (Southern part of India). Nagaland introduced me to orchids in early 80's and been amidst lot of natural habitats of some of the wonderful epiphytic orchids and the Indian species of Paphs. I have good collection of NE species as well as from Western Ghats (another major orchid habitat in India). I dabble with bit of breeding and also pollinate for getting capsules and raise seedlings of some of the species. Hope to enjoy posting pictures and also learning a lot from this forum.
Thanks, Happy paph growing..

Namaste Sastry. Welcome to the forum. I have some very close friends here in Australia from Nagaland. They make this wonderful Nagaland curry - smoked pork with bamboo shoots. Delicious, though a bit hot.

Nice exul by the way.

Thank you all and i am sure it will be a wonderful learning experience for me in your company, great feeling
