Hi From Seattle

Hello everyone. This list is so active it's hard to keep up with reading the messages much less posting, but I thought I should introduce myself. I live in Seattle and grow mostly Phal. species, but have some Paphs. and other things that catch my fancy :smitten:. I have grown orchids myself since the mid 80's, but grew up with my mother's Cymbidiums in Southern California. I am glad to have found Ernie from Enlightened Orchds on this group so that I can order a couple plants I have been looking for. Thank you for all the great information .

Hi Dot-that's my newest blooming Paph. baby Paph. Fumi's Delight "Emerald Dream" X Paph. Conco-bellatulum "Lemon Punch". This is a first time bloom:

The photo is a little washed out-the pouch is a pale yellow.

I can't keep my eyes of your avatar-that is one of the most beautiful Paphs I have ever seen :smitten::drool::smitten:[

welcome from upstate ny! nice to see a fellow phal species grower... have you visited or bought plants from nenita sorella? (sorella's orchids) also an excellent phal species vendor is dwayne lowder in virginia (dowery orchids). both have excellent plants and the prices are not unreasonable. if dwayne has a plant listed at a higher price it is likely large, previously flowered or in flower! often I've had plants sent to me in flower. nenita has nice phal lindeniis

Thank you for the information . A number of years ago I bought quite a few plants from Sorella. I particularly like the Phal. zebrina . I am not familiar with Dowery Orchids, so will have to check them out.
