but I'm so excited about growing this hybrid let alone bring it into spike! Dot and New Jersey Jim, both got divisions of this clone. Bought it during a Houston Show in 09, an auction war of sorts

That is one healthy looking growth! I like growing kovachii hybrids I think they are pretty easy and grow well. Glad to see semi hydro working.

...I don't think you can jinx a phrag. It'll bloom for sure
 
You guys should of seen this plant before I put it in the S/H system. Corrugated and leaf tip burn seriously. Great roots but trouble top side and it may have had rot issues too.

Mine, with the new growth, grew out of the corrugation, not in S/H. I'm really anxious to see this bloom!
 
Me too Dot. My corrugated part grew this fan out of it, once roots formed I cut the two apart. The corrugated part then grew two more fans which I sent to Jim in New Jersey. The corrugate fan finally gave out.
