Hi All,

Are there any commercial outfits or universities that provide services to analyze a plant's genetics? For example, can you send material to determine if a plant is a hybrid or species? Chromosome counting (to test for 3N/4N)?

I imagine there are many roadblocks to this sort of thing like the need for fresh material, high costs, and incomplete reference barcodes. However, it would be awesome if this sort of thing came into common use.
