I've seen them bloom on single growths, so the fact that your plant has 2 makes me think it's blooming size, but now whether it'll bloom within the next year or not is a different matter.

It's a 4 growth plant, I can't get it to bloom, the leafspan is just over 30 inches on 2 growths

I would say yes. Mine bloomed on a single growth in a 4'' pot. I think the leaf span was about 24''. Flowers were a mess,so a friend has it now.

It might be my screen and my eyes. Does the leaves look dark to anyone else? If so it could be light. I was growing mine on the bright side and leaves were a paler green color.

Each plant is an individual living biological individual and grow and mature at it's own rate. Your other plants grow and bloom "normally" so the reason this one has not bloomed is not culture.

It's just not ready to reproduce.... It's not blooming "size".

OK if you don't stop and think about it that may not make sense.

Well lance that was my question, just not sure how common this is for this cross only to bloom on such a big plant

Troy, you have a very well grown plant. Assuming genetics is fine, think about light, temperature and fertilizer in that order.

It's obvious it is healthy and well fed. Maybe just happy as it is, no need to re produce.

Troy,
No need to worry, that is indeed a blooming size plant.
I have bloomed some on much smaller growths but
the result was a lower flower count. Perhaps it's only waiting
for the smaller growth to catch up; it may surprise you with
two spikes. Jerry
