A couple originally from the EYOF flowering now.
La Vingtaine (kovachii x MDC) has gone backwards slightly in the past year. Just two flowers this year and a slightly smaller growth. Although a nice thing it only produces a single growth each year and two flowers isn't much for the space taken up. This is the larger flower in the bottom left of the first photo and the last one.
In contrast there is La Hougette ( Dalessandroi x )which gets a bit bigger each year. The biggest growth has produces a branching spike for the first time with two extra side spikes. It will flower for a long time and with plenty out at once.

I'm especially pleased as these plants grow indoors in a kitchen window over winter and are outdoors with the cymbidiums in summer. They do not get any special treatment such as increased humidity or lighting. They just sit in a tray of rainwater with added rainmix year round. I flush the pots with rain water in the summer only. They are proving to be really easy growers.
I should be flowering a seedling (hanne popow x kovachii ) and a large Don Wimber 'Remembrance' and Suzanne Decker in the next few months.
