This primary cross will brighten up any winter day. This temperature tolerant anceps is One of my favorites. They are easy and can grow to specimen size.
i divided mine when it got too big to manage IE 45 blooms on 12 spikes. A real visual delight.

That’s kind of an interesting question. The current spike show in above reply are about 20 in, much The same as a straight L. anceps, which can sometimes vary maybe with different light intensity.

What a beautiful flower! As an indoor grower, however, the length of the spike would preclude this from my collection.

However the color is SO worth it.
Also I believe the long narrower Pbulbs make the plant a “little“ more compact.
