Yeah right, who ain't. But I thought I'd put it out there. Ebay is nuts. Even crosses are ridiculous. I would just like a little seedling so I can watch it for about 7 - 8 years and see it grow. Would anyone have any PK seedlings? Or am I being too silly? Thanks, Jack

You're only being silly if you expect to get one for under $100. Glen Decker or Jerry Fisher probably has them. I bought one from Glen about a year ago.

They actually grow pretty fast so you may only need 3 or so years instead of 8

Peruflora offers flask with 7 seedling.

But 7 would be too much. Nyeric told me that, maybe you can ask him about the list

Kewl - Rick: How is the one doing that you got from Glen?

Dido: I tried to find Peruflora on the net but only found discussions trying to figure out how to get ahold of them. A flask with 7 would be how much?

Alfredo Manurique will be at the show in Miami this month. He will probably have pk seedlings for sale.

I pre-ordered PKs from Alfredo in April. He took pre-oder and will ship to US addresses during the show. Last year, somebody posted here that he got a big PK for $86 in the Redland show!

Well....You guys ain't gonna believe this: Last night I went to the Atlanta O.S. meeting where I knew they were having a speaker from Ecuador. I also know that PK's were discovered there later, after the Peru discovery. Well, guess what, he had some PK crosses. MY favorite Fritz Schomburg (P. besseae X P. kovachii). If I had to get one that would be the one I'd want. A cross of the two latest discoveries in the Phrag. world in one plant. I'd still like to have a PK species, but who wouldn't. The other cross he had was Eumelia Arias (P. schlimii X P. kovachii). His name is Ivan from Ecuagenera and I asked him how much for the Fritz. I thought he said $15. So I tore out of there to the nearest ATM and obtained necessary funds. Went to get my steal of a deal and he say no senior' I say ifty. Well, after seeing the PK action on ebay for these puppies ifty seemed fair enough to me. In fact if I could have afforded it I would have bought all 5. So...I have to get out in the garage and plant my new honey up. Oh, by the way...it's blooming size. I'll show some pics here in a little bit. Oh, also I'm from Copperhill, Tn. 100 mi. n. of Atl.

Ok I started a new thread with pictures of the PK cross I got last night. It's titled P. Fritz Schomburg. I could really use some culture help with this. Thanks

Hey Rob - He had 5 EA's last night too. How much do you charge for yours? He was selling his for $50. Everything he had last night I understood came here from Ecuador. The boxes had all that international shipping stuff on it. One of the club members said he had to pay all the CITES fees to get the restricted ones in. So, I don't know.

I charge 50 for all the kovachii hybrids... Mine come from Hawaii. Seems like he is probably making a better profit than I, but that is fine. $50 is very reasonable for kovachii hybrids, considering what others have been known to charge for them.
