from Parks.. opens flat petalled gets really long and then spirals
pretty nice.. 1st flowering.. 4 flowers, darker Red in person than can get to show on photo.. not fully open- next time maybe flowers will space a little better to show them off individually..

Looks like its a beautiful hybrid but again the pic is too pastel. It just doesn't "pop" out at me

It certainly shows off the plant better, with the colours being defined more. A good first flowering with 4 flowers, congrats.

Hi, just received one email and replied.. so much for cyberspace..
bought more of your Johns blooming specials today, addicted and like the blooming and more immediate gratification .. though finally getting bloomspikes initiated on multiflorals- st switin, lady isabel & Fumimasa Sugiyama, in my conditions
so hoping I dont' have the multi year waits I hear from other growers
or just have enough plants to have something in bloom all the time even
so don't notice the long waits on some..
the blooming plants are better meds for stress than the doctors prescribe.

Definitely better. This is a really interesting cross -- the petals and the color are really unusual.

Four blooms is good for a start, and the petals are great. Nice flowers. Now put something roth-heavy on it to improve pouch colour and the size and stance of the dorsal.
