Mem Miguel Medina is Lady Isabel x wilhelminae

the color is probably the best I have ever seen on a multifloral and then there's that dorsal...my first multi complex that I consider worthy to keep

I will shoot a better image by the end of the week

I agree. Very nice form and color of the DS. Dont think the first flower has matured yet, spacing might get better. Goodluck.

Paphiopedilum QF Kulani ...maybe the QF is a clue as to the breeder, can't imagine more than one breeder making this..Quintal Farms?

Impressive, but my advice: wait until the next bloom to have it judged. You know the quality is there, so baby it, rebloom it with more and bigger flowers, and stake it to perfection. No sense risking an hcc on a plant that deserves more.

It's the last meeting of the Seattle judging, so I will be taking it for nostalgia c reasons...and even if it gets an HCC award now...doesn't mean that the award cant be upgraded...it's happened quite a bit with awarded plants..I dont see how waiting till the next bloom matters

Ah, well, that's different.
While it is true that awards can be upgraded, it's damn hard. Much harder than getting it awarded in the first place, if you ask me.

So if it is awarded, it can't be awarded on the next blooming? But can be upgraded?

Congratulations.

In my experience, trying to upgrade a low AM to higher point AM is harder. Even though AM is AM - but some will ask if it's high AM or low AM.
