Today is a big festival. After a long search I finally got two bowls full of Mexipedium xerophyticum. Very beautiful and healthy plants.

How are they doing? I just got some and hope I can bloom them. How do you grow yours? They look great

They're fine. I passed on the small bowl, I only have the big one. In winter I cultivated them on the south window at 16-20°. Every three days I sprayed the surface with water. Three plants will flower soon and 10 new shoots will grow.

If ever you are looking for x mexipedium, Windy Hill Gardens (Marilyn Ledoux) has always had very nice plants.
many years ago i visited her while in the area for work, and saw a massive display of them.. She even had one planting of i am pretty sure all the same plant, in a 1/2 whisky barrel, cut down and they encompassed the entire diameter of the tub..... can't remember how many flowers were in bloom but quite a lot!!!...
