The 6 Miltoniopsis in my collection is now down to one! Terrible losses in these this past year. This is the only one to survive the deaths and it is doing fine...very strange as all were growing in the same area.

These are such lovely blooms!!!! But I am not able to grow them either  (meaning killed at least up to 10 of them over the years) !!! Jean

 Survivor!
:(:sob: sorry about the loses, I've lost a couple as well, this summer is a killer, the heat just won't let up, I hope the upcoming winter doesn't have the same extremes!

Beautiful flowers! I guess this one survived...is it because of the warmth tolerant parent in this hybrid?

Very pretty...is it fragrant?

I'm down to just one as well. Not sure what the problem is...

This cross has Miltoniopsis santanaei as one parent. It is a warmth-tolerant species that Ivan Komoda has been using extensively in his breeding program. Seeing this flower has inspired me to try again with a similar hybrid. :rollhappy:
