OMG!!! please keep us posted if the plant continues to win! Will it lose that pitcher after or even before digesting a meal like that!
Any bets as to how long it will take? I'm gonna say 10 days!
 
When I first read the title of the thread I thought that the "v." meant "var." I was thinking, I didn't know their were different varieties of species and who would name a nepenthes variety "mouse"?

So cool! My little N. sanguinea wiped out all the little gnats I had around my plants.
 
I hafta ask how the mouse got in there and why it can't chew its way out the side of the flower???? Is it a baby field mouse?

they're smooth inside so it may not have been able to grasp anything to chew through

My truncata... had about 5 house gecko in one of the pitcher and smelling like hell...
