:)I just restored a Lord and Burnham greenhouse and are bringing it in to the 21st century. I have started growing Orchids sinds last summer and have joyned our local society. I have allready started to grow a love for the slippers, after the first ones flowered. I am a little overwhelmed with the information on the net about the Paphs. so when I came across this forum I wanted to become part of and learn. Looking forward to learning and sharing my failures and succeses! Peter.

Welcome and greetings from the netherlands.

Another welcome!!! You have come to the right place, or better: you ended up, where all Paphoholics end up....There are so many great growers here, know how you will not find anywhere... and besides: it's the best forum there is anyhow! With the help of these folks here...stuff like that becomes possible (and I'm not! a good grower):

Welcome from the North Shore of the Saint-Laurent river in the beautiful province de Québec, winter home of the snow owl, normally... :)

Welcome, Peter!

Don't believe John Boy -- he is obviously a good grower, and contributes much here!

I hope you'll show us your L&B greenhouse. At one time, it was the state of the art, and was long on my wish-list.

Thanks everyone for your nice welcome!

I Am very excited about getting to exchange information. And if I can fiend out how it will accept my pics. Ill start posting what I have so far and what a from the ground up foto series of construction of the GH. We have not had much of a winter here in Norfolk Virginia which was great since I am still using electric space heaters.

Peter, most people use either Photobucket or Flicker to post photos here. You can find instructions here: http://www.slippertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=177
