Thus far this is my favorite multifloral hybrid that I created here at Orchids Limited. It is Paph. Platy Swith x sanderianum. Paph. Platy Swith is Saint Swithin x platyphyllum, so this cross is 50% sanderianum, 25% platyphyllum, 12.5 % philippinense and 12.5% rothschildianum. At this point you can almost call these type of multiflorals: "complex" multiflorals. I love the "golden" tan colors, and especially the dark almost purple looking edges at the base of the petals.

Yeah, I like the purple colour too. It's different and adds lots of interest. Also, I like the large staminode....again, it's different and adds lots of interest. This multifloral really stands out. Good pairing, Robert!

  It reminds me of MK, which is at the top of my fav list!

very nice , is the first flowering plant ?

Correct!

beautiful flowers on this 1growth plant (well looks like a new is just emerging)!!! How long did it take to bloom? Jean

I made the cross back in May of 2002; the first seedlings got planted in July of 2004, so it took them 5 years as seedlings out of the lab to bloom.
