Hello all,
I am delighted to finally be part of this forum. I have over 600 orchids, however only very recently I have aquired some paphs, they have grown well for me and I intend to buy many more. I also wanna give phrags a try too. I am 15 and have been orchid growing for 5 years now. I have a shade house and I griw the paphs with the seedlings and phal species under more shade then the rest of the shadehouse. I'm sure I will enjoy my time on this board !

Welcome to the forum from california, there are participants on this site from all over the world, you should put what country you are from or in u.s. put what state. you will learn alot here, there are more than a handfull of expert growers here of most all orchid species, you are 15, pay attention you will be propagating orchids in no time

Greetings. You must have quite an allowance to have that many orchids by now. If you averaged $15 per plant which isn't bad unless you figure in flasks that's $9000 spent for 600 plants!

Thanks all, a bit about my growing;
I have a large shade house perhaps 20 meters long and seven meters wide, one part is double shade cloth for my seedlings, paphs and phals.how do I afford all this? I work at an orchid nuresery and get a good $400 a week. I also look for very cheap deals on ebay and I buy quite a few flasks. I do my own flasking too but not really much success. I grow anything really, I like fragrant orchids and I loooove species! The hardcane dendrobiums grow massive here so I have huge dens. I am from darwin, Australia
