With the low midday winter sun and a good snow dusting on the mountains, and the fact that it's not cloudy..a scene like this, where you can actually see a lot of depth to the field of view (in the mtn range), is a rare event in Seattle. Used Photomerge (Photoshop) to merge 7 shots. Some issues at the boundaries of each shot, probably due to lens quality at 200 mm (Canon 6D with Tamron 70-200 2.8)

Cool.
We almost got there last year, but the super cheap lodging was too far.
 
The Rainforest is nice...but technically, only exists along rivers as this thin stretch qualifies as enough rainfall. But the Olympics has a lot of different features..have been all over the range
