If anyone is a member of Orchid Digest, you’ve seen the wonderful article on ‘America’s Orchid Collection of The Smithsonian Institution” featuring lead horticulturist, Jason Kondrat, and the Living Collections Manager, and NCOS President, Sarah Hedean. It’s a great article, I wish I could add a link to it, but the one online is to last months’ article. I’ve seen the Smithsonian’s webinar with a lot of this info, but love having a ‘hard copy’ of this article. If you want to see how much energy they put into caring for “America’s Orchids’ that belong to you and me as taxpayers, somehow get a hold of the article.
