What is a good potting medium for paphs? Right now I am using kiwi bark and perolite with small lava rock. In clay pots.

That sounds good to me.

Your potting media sounds OK, though I don't know anything about Kiwi bark. Many of us use Orchiata bark with similar amendments.

Welcome from NYC. I thought kiwi = rexius!? Your mix should promote your paphs based von your cultural tendencies. If you water a lot you don't want to retain too much moisture. If you grow very dry you may want to retain more...

Kiwi bark is not rexius and not the same as orchiata. Kiwi bark is from the same tree as orchiata(pinus radiata) but not composted and treated with lime for PH. It is basically fresh pinus radiata bark.
