This fall the Central Ohio Orchid Society presents Orchids Under Glass, at the historic and beautiful Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Columbus, Ohio. Not only are the orchids here under the glass of the Conservatory, but also the phantasmagorical, almost surreal Chihuly glass art suspended above and around them!
The Mid-America Orchid Congress brings together 54 orchid societies from 16 US states and Ontario twice a year, Spring and Fall, for lectures, orchid displays, buying orchids not commonly available, and of course most importantly, camaraderie!
We'll have national and international vendors for a rare chance at obtaining hard-to-find plants, as well as outstanding orchid speakers:
Andrea Niessen of Orquideas Del Valle from Colombia, on Colombian Maxillarias.
Patricia Harding on the Orchid Species Identification Task Force.
Gustavo Aguirre of Orquideas Katia, Colombia, on Colombian Cattleyas.
And Patricia Harding after dinner Saturday on the recent WOC in South Africa.
Don't miss this rare opportunity! REGISTER NOW!! Full registrants will also have unlimited access to the Conservatory and its one-of-a-kind permanent Chihuly glass installations throughout!
