This is andreettae "Yellow" our best andreettae so far.
It is not as flat as I would like but not bad for this species...
NS is 6cm

Having never seen one of these in person, I'd say that one looks really nice. Of course, a 2 dimentional photograph makes things look more flat than they really are. The plant is doing well. That blooming growth is so much larger and robust than the old growth. Congratulations on growing it so well!

Nice. They are not easy to grow for me. Any tips/advice?

Grow it warm (20-30C) and let the substrate decompose a little bit more than in besseae.
I grow my plant one week on top of 2cm of water and the next one without water.
The less I fertilize my andreettae plants the better are looking.

Eric you have a nice andreettae plant in my greenhouse a vigorous one...

This is starting to sound like a challenge to me, time to find a Phrag. andreettae and grow the **** out of it to get the biggest flower!

Actually, I think Phrag. manzurii is more up my alley with the yellow tinted flowers, branching spikes and fragrant flowers.

It is VERY hard to get a true manzurii. I do have about 20 plants from diferent sources labelled as manzurii that actually are schlimii variations... only 1 so far has resulted the true thing...

I've seen that Chuck Acker is offering (or was offering) flasks. I have no way of knowing for sure that they are authentic, and not being independently wealthy, I've had to hold back on going for it.

But if you find something genuine, man, that'd be really cool to get my hands on.

Very delicate flower (feminine, yes, Angela). A little cupped, maybe, but that's much better than the maccaroni-shaped petals most of them have.
