I’ve been home for a total of 5 days in 6 weeks but my plants seem to be doing ok so far. Some welcome surprises, including this P. concolor and also the second blooming of Ho Chi Minh this year. Here’s hoping I can get someone to water during the heat wave next week.
The P. concolor coming out double is so sweet. Ho Chi Minh has a swoopy lateral where it was touching the glass of its high-walked terrarium but I like the way it stands, hand on hip, looking obliviously stylish and blowy and insouciant all at once. It was the most pathetic of rescues and now it might be my prettiest plant. I generally thumb my nose at hybrids but I’d be sad if anything happened to this baby.
