Hi guys, finally got one of these to bloom. This is the fourth plant I had go into bud and the first to bloom - the rest blasted. Has anyone else found these to be finicky bloomers. I don't seem to have that issue with anything else except straight armeniacum. Enjoy. Doug

Potterychef, I also find them alittle hard to bloom. They stay in sheath for months and months before blooming. I had a couple in sheath earlier this year, or should I say from late last year. A couple of those blasted. I do have one in bloom at the moment and a second one in sheath (which I have little hope for) Personally, I think I don't keep them wet enough, but my wife thinks just the opposite.

It's gorgeous Doug! I know better than to try one so I can't help with culture!
The vini deles arrived safe & soun d- look good - Thanks!

Bob,
I run mine quite dry and had 10 or so in bloom this season with no blasting. I think your wife might be right. Also when I do water, I water heavy and make sure to remove the water that stands in the crowns of any low budded parvi. I 've had and I am having a good parvi year. Oh yeah, constant air flow is crucial.
