This thing is large… one of my picks in early bud when I visited Hilo Orchid Farm last month. The other from this cross was no good so happy to get a keeper. Pot is 5” for reference. Hope the spike and other issues will improve next time but size and color are pretty good

Can’t say I’m an out and out lippewunder fan but I’m interested to see how plays out as grandparent etc for more crosses. That is provided the pouch deformities don’t persist. It seems like the flowers get cleaned up when crossed to more likely 2N type flowers like gege hughes etc
