Looking for a "non-saskianum" Paph. bougainvillianum adult to replace one that was lost last year. Anyone interested in selling or trading for something of equal value, please send me a PM.

I know the fischers have some Tom. But I don't think they were cheap. Good luck.

Japanese growers are said to have some for 1.500-2.000 USD / plant.
Have you tried with selfings?

They had them listed about a year ago, then took them down. I don't know if they sold them all. I figured they maybe didn't sell that well because if I remember they were kind of steep on price. They probably still have a few around if you ask specifically.

I'll give Jerry a call. $ 1,500-$2,000 is a little steep, but if there aren't many out there, I guess it's whatever the market will bear. Ours was doing fine until we selfed it, and within four months the seed pod and plant were both dead. I've seen bougainvillianum var saskianum available, but I don't much like the look of the flower; it looks more like a minor form of violascens to me. But then again, I'm not a taxonomist.
