Here is the bloom for my concolor. It is almost all white except for the spots. It has very little yellow in it like last years blooms.

Hi Dot,
I got it off of e-bay last year so before I got it I'm not sure about its growing conditions. I have kept it in moss & a south facing window. It seems to like the extra light the leaves are the same as the older growths. & I fertilize every other watering. I did divide it last year, but it was just after I got it as it was in spike.
I did a selfing on it last year & they just germinated at Troys.

In general the intensity of the color of the flowers depends on the temperature. If you bloom them under cooler temperatures the flowers will have more intense pigmentation resulting in darker flowers. You mentioned that you got this plant on ebay, so I am guessing that the person who was growing it before you was growing it under cooler conditions than you are; especially as you mention that you are growing it in your South Window, which can be the warmest place in your house.
