you're not kidding those are nice, especially the first. Big chunky ones of these are impressive to see in person

Nice flowers, but it's not curtisii - you show Paph. ciliolare.

I have to say Paph ciliolare too! That's the first thing that popped in my head when the pic opened.

I agree with ciliolare, and nice ones too.

petal spots are bigger and denser than typical superbiens. Lots of big black warts with hairs on upper edge of petals.

Do you know where the plants or parents came from?

Any form of superbiens is from Sumatra. Ciliolare is from Philippines.

Sorry for my mistake, I changed the two species names... of course you are right.

Love them both!

Looks like the stam is partially hidden in the second flower.

yes unfourtunatly the stam is deformed.

I got them from an import from the Philippines.

By the way, did you cross-pollinate them? Or did you put their pollen on something else? Just curious...

Yes I cross-pollinate them to breed the species!

I second that! I selfed mine on its last blooming, waited 8 months then sent it to the lab. Its been 2-2.5 months now and haven't heard anything back so wait as long as you can Martin before harvesting the pod.
