That's cute. Does it also happen to be one of the fragrant delenatiis? I've been surprised by the fact that some of them don't seem to be fragrant, while others have a fairly pronounced scent.

Yes, it does have a very nice scent. Smells sort of like roses. I thought the scent was quite strong for a delenatii.

The second bloom opened on April 25th.

Another picture of the first bloom

Pollinated on April 25th with pollinia that I got from Leo from Paph. sanderianum 'Nov. 2012'. Trying to come up with a clonal name for my delenatii...

Neither of the blooms have faded yet.

interesting cross. Have any of parvi X sandie been made? If so, what was the outcome?

I Know Taida did afew of them some years ago, non have been awarded to my knowledge ( I am sure malipoense was one of them), and neither have I seen any pictures of one. There was a post recently with someone singing the praises of sandi x delenatii (sa???? slippers, I assume you did read above), but again I have never seen any pictures. The only one not done or flowered is with vietnamense, but that could just be because they have not flowered yet.

Here's a picture of Tom Kalina's Paph. Sacajawea's Slippers (delenatii x sanderianum). My plan is to eventually cross sanderianum back into this.

I am not going to even ask why? (you are obviously a lot younger than I am, with a lot more time on your hands. I am even scared to watch a series on TV in case I dont get to see the end!)

I've got at least 50 more years ahead of me. :) That'd get me almost to 70. I'm younger but I sure don't have a lot of time on my hands.

Interesting cross, would like to get one of them.

Have delenatii X anitum from 2 vendors and waiting on bloom.

One for sure will need some time, as the roots was very poor, but they starting again now.
